Project Manager – Construction


As a Construction Project Manager, you will act as the Owner's representative and manage all activities associated with the development and construction of multifamily projects while adhering to the project schedule, budget, lender and/or ownership requirements. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Responsible to manage and report on construction projects. Specifically, to schedule and prepare “look ahead” schedules, organize related documents (contracts, pay applications, change orders, submittals, RFIs, etc.), coordinate with onsite team and subcontractors, and report on status of construction projects.

  • Responsible for construction project management from pre-construction services to project close-out including budgeting, bidding, scheduling, estimating, subcontractor selection & buyout, drafting subcontracts & scopes of work, product expediting, subcontractor coordination, cost control, submittals, RFIs, coordination of change orders with subcontractors, and assisting in project close-out.

  • Manage, schedule, and track material deliveries.

  • Responsible for managing subcontractor pay applications, and incorporating these pay applications into project cost forecasts.

  • Plan and prepare construction schedules and monitor progress against established schedules.

  • Prepare contracts and exhibits and assist in negotiating revisions to contractual agreements with consultants, suppliers, and subcontractors.

  • Supervise and report on activities of subcontractors and onsite staff.

  • Prepare consulting/subcontractor agreements, facilitate plan submissions to authorities having jurisdiction, and assist in securing permits and certificates of occupancy.

  • Prepare monthly reports to accurately communicate budget, schedule, project controls, and overall project progress.

  • Participate in project team meetings with Construction and Development, prepare agendas, meeting minutes, and provide feedback.

  • Be highly organized, detail oriented and thorough in all aspects of the work.

  • Assist development team on entitlement processes and manage consultants (geotechnical, environmental, zoning, traffic, code review, accessibility, civil, architects, structural, MEP/FP, lighting, landscape, peer reviews, etc.).
