Are you an experienced Project Manager with a passion for multifamily construction? At Dakota Enterprises, we’re looking for a dynamic, entrepreneurial leader to join our General Contractor team. As the Project Manager for our ground-up multifamily development projects, you’ll be a key driver in managing construction from permitted plans to project closeout. What You’ll Do:

• Lead and manage the end-to-end construction process for multifamily projects, ensuring the project is delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
• Interpret plans and collaborate closely with the development team to review designs and prepare preliminary budgets during the development phase.
• Prepare take-offs and create project-specific scopes that align with project goals and client expectations.
• Manage buy-outs and subcontractor contracts to ensure the right partners are brought on board for each phase of the project.
• Master cost control, utilizing your knowledge of pricing and cost structures to keep projects on track.
• Develop and manage schedules, including three-week look-ahead planning, to ensure smooth execution at all stages of the project.
• Coordinate and oversee day-to-day operations on site, ensuring all teams and stakeholders are aligned and progressing according to plan.
• Drive innovation in construction practices, continually looking for ways to improve processes, reduce costs, and maximize efficiency.

Who We’re Looking For:

• A highly motivated, results-driven Project Manager with at least 5 years of experience in multifamily construction in Texas (preferably Houston).
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and manage a diverse team.
• Expertise in reading and interpreting construction plans to guide your project from conception to completion.
• A strategic thinker who thrives in an entrepreneurial and fast-paced environment.
• An individual who is analytical, creative, and not afraid to challenge the status quo.
• Strong understanding of construction pricing, contracts, and scheduling, with a hands-on approach to problem-solving.
