It was founded in 2007 and is based in Houston, Texas where all its assets are located.  Dakota is hiring for the listed position(s) to support its increased growth of its pipeline.

Dakota Enterprises is seeking a Project Manager - General Contractor to lead ground-up multifamily construction projects in Houston, TX from preconstruction through Certificate of Occupancy (CO).

We are looking for candidates with strong multifamily construction experience and working knowledge of Houston-area permitting and approvals. Candidates currently operating on multifamily projects in Houston, and ready to step into a full PM role are encouraged to apply.

Role Overview

You will be responsible for managing ground-up multifamily developments from permitted plans through buyout, construction, and closeout within a vertically integrated development platform.

This role requires the ability to navigate Houston’s permitting, planning, and inspection environment while executing projects in the field.

Core Responsibilities

• Manage full lifecycle of multifamily construction projects (Houston-based)

• Interpret plans, perform take-offs, and develop scopes of work

• Lead subcontractor buyout, contract negotiation, and cost control

• Build and maintain project schedules and drive timelines
